Tuesday, July 31, 2012

Congratulations to Go Fish, a team of high school students from Glen Lake.  The team won the honor of competing against top high school students from around the U.S and Canada in a week long Environmental Education Competition in Pennsylvania this past week.  Each year Michigan Envirothon sends one team of outstanding high school students to represent Michigan and compete for scholarships and prizes.  The team spent the week learning from top proffessionals in the field, and being challenged in an outdoor hands on setting.  Though Michigan did not place in the top 10 this year, they gained invaluble experience and had a memorable week.  Follow the link to read the official Cannon Press release.
