Michigan Conservation Districts are your local natural resource, resource! Districts provide a wealth of information and assistance for landowners and managers, including workshops and tours that address local resource issues.
As an example of the many opportunities available through local Conservation Districts find below two workshops scheduled for February 25th. The Alcona Conservation District in the northeast and the Emmet Conservation District in the northwest are holding these workshops on timely topics of interest.
"Pruning Fruit Trees and Protecting My Shade Trees from Emerald Ash Borer and Other Key Pests - It's Never Too Late", a day long comprehensive workshop scheduled for February 25th at the Greenbush Township Hall in Greenbush, hosted by the Alcona Conservation District.
