Michigan Pheasant Restoration Initiative: Landowner Pheasant Cooperative meeting scheduled for the "Thumb".

Join other interested landowners in the Thumb area of Michigan on January 26th for a Landowner Pheasant Cooperative meeting. The meeting will be held at the DNR Field Office in Cass City, at 7:00 pm.

Pheasants Forever and local partners including area Conservation Districts, the meeting will provide you the tools and information on how to form a Landowner Pheasant Cooperative in your area. Program topics include the current Farm Bill conservation programs, Hunter Access Program, the formation of local Landowner Pheasant Co-ops and MPRI program details.  Event Flyer.

The Michigan Pheasant Restoration Initiative (MPRI) is working to facilitate a revitalization of pheasants and other species that utilize grasslands, by providing guidance and assistance on habitat prescriptions for pheasants and by facilitating the development of "Neighborhood Cooperatives".
